The whole system was taken from the Celestion plans hand book, and matched together from advice given by Peter Ambrose (one of the book’s authors.) This system is a very efficient air mover and has the equivalence of an 8-10k rig of standard cabinet design. They are fitted with edge and corner protection and heavy duty handles. The cabinets are all professionally built to a very high standard by a reputable joinery company in Oxford, and have been covered in black carpet. The mid/HF and HF horns have passive filters fitted internally to the cabinets, and the main active crossover is a Studiomaster C180. The mid/HF horns are RH/DCR 100 units and the HF arrays are 4 x HF50 bullets. Professional high-end Celestion drivers used in both the bass bins and the mid-range horns are BX15-4085 and BX12-4085 respectively, and their reputation is well known and deserved.
